Mana Therapy Services provides allied and affirming online individual and group therapy for adults throughout Florida, Maine, Texas, and Washington. My practice embraces, understands, and celebrates neurodiversity (including ADHD and Autism, and recognizes self-diagnosis), LGBTQIA2S+ identities, polyamory, kink, sex work, fat body liberation, and chronic illness/disability advocacy.
I can help you regain your magic to heal.
My name is Corazon “Cora” Burke (they, she), LMHC, LCPC, MCAP. I am an unapologetically unashamed fat, queer, geeky, AuDHD, and chronically ill therapist — and I firmly believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space, where no subject is taboo.
As a therapist and a person, I practice what I preach. I care about social justice on a broader scale, and I also care about helping you thrive in your daily life.
I take a holistic, integrated, and eclectic approach to therapy. You can trust that every technique I bring to our work together, I’ve used personally, so I can understand more intimately how it works and what I’m asking you to do. I’ll also provide real life examples of ways to use each technique. I’m passionate about techniques that actually work for YOUR life – not just the hypothetical textbook application.
I will use examples from fandoms that you love, to help illustrate different concepts.
I’m curious, compassionate, and never judge.
I have a sailor mouth, an utter disregard for social norms, and I’m stubborn AF. I’m a real person with lived experience, just like you.
If you’re a little bit (or a lot bit) different, and you’re looking for a therapist who’s different, too, I think we’ll be a good fit.
Ultimately, my approach to therapy is determined by who you are and what you need. I won’t pretend to be an expert on anything I’m not – including you. You’re already bringing that expertise to the table, simply by being who you are.
In my role as a therapist, I’m a facilitator, a navigator, and sometimes even a sentient life raft. My job isn’t to change you into someone you are not, but rather help you unleash the real version of yourself. Along the way, I’ll support you as you navigate:
Abuse and Trauma
Addiction and Substance Use
Anxiety
Depression
Family Conflicts
Guilt and Shame
Lack of Connection with Others
Life Changes
Low Self-Confidence
Low Self-Esteem
Late Diagnosis of ADHD or Autism
People Pleasing
Relationship Issues
Setting Boundaries
Stress
Unmasking
And more!
Simply being a person in this world can be tough.
As humans, we are not just products of our biology — we are also products of our environments, relationships, and the society we live in.
Everything connects and intertwines in unique ways to create who we are, how we think, how we feel, and how we interact with the world.
We are all a mix of good and bad, dark and light – and everything in between.
Our complexity and contradictions don’t make us irredeemable. They make us magic.
Through individual and group therapy, I can help you learn about your identities, understand your neurotype, dispel myths, and uplift your truth.
I’m passionate about helping you learn who you really are, what you really want, and what you really need to help make life on this planet even just a little bit easier. It’s okay if you don’t know what those things are yet because I’m here to help guide you. We will work together to figure it out!
