Are you queer or neurodivergent? Do you live a non-traditional or non-conforming kind of life? Are you located in Florida, Maine, Texas, or Washington and looking for an online therapist who actually gets you?

You’re in the right place.

A group of people with diverse skin colors and gender presentations sit on a blanket outdoors. They smile and laugh toward the camera, all embracing each other.

I firmly believe that every person needs someone who will listen to them and consider them with unconditional, positive regard. I believe that every person should have a safe space to unburden themselves and manage life stressors – without bias or judgment.

At Mana Therapy Services, you can find this support in a sex positive, fat body liberating, disability advocating, and LGBTQIA+, kinky, polyamory, and neurodiversity-affirming environment.

If you feel like you're an outcast or like you're weird or different than others, I enthusiastically welcome you into this space.

So many things can bring us to therapy. Simply by being alive in this world, we have all experienced pain, suffering, and trauma. This is especially true if you are navigating the world with one or more marginalized identities.

Maybe you feel like no one gets you.

Maybe you’re exhausted at the end of each day because you are masking so hard.

Maybe it seems like everyday tasks are way harder for you than for everyone else.

Maybe you feel anxious, depressed, or down and don’t know why.

Maybe you’ve spent so much of your life trying to make others around you happy that you don’t really know who you are anymore.

If you’re ready to find healing, uncover your authentic self, and want to work with a therapist who approaches the process from an anti-oppressive, anti-racist, and pro-human framework – I’m here to help with online individual and group therapy for folx throughout Florida, Maine, Texas, and Washington.

Whatever brings you to therapy, your needs for healing are at the center of my process.

Perhaps you need a stable, solid source of connection, where you feel safe and brave enough to simply talk through your life stress.

Maybe you need more direction and guidance to understand why you are handling things the way you are handling them.

Or maybe you want to build life skills, coping mechanisms, and the kind of self-acceptance that makes each day just a little easier to get through.

I firmly believe that you already contain the potential to grow, change, and discover the kind of healing you want for your life.

Together in therapy, we’ll develop your strengths and find effective, healthy solutions for managing the problems you’re facing. I take a holistic, integrated approach to this work, which means:

  • I’ll always work to understand your family history, your cultural history, and your history of experiences. Therapy is not linear. We don’t start in childhood and work our way forward. We go back and forth.

  • I use both top down (i.e., talking, like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and bottom up (i.e., body based, or somatic, like EMDR) approaches.

  • My work with clients is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), in which we get in touch with our feelings, learn to listen to our parts, and explore our needs.

  • I also bring in radical feminist theory, in which we consider how your issues are influenced within the framework of your cultural, political, and social contexts. Why on earth would a trans person living in the US, for instance, not have anger or fear in response to the current political environment?

  • Last, but not least, my approach is also influenced by the relational-cultural model, in which we consider that human beings grow through, and toward, connection throughout our lifespans.

If you’re looking for a therapist who sees you as someone who is already whole – who already holds healing magic in your mind and in your body – I know we’ll be a good fit.

But I’m also the first person to tell you if we’re not. If you’re looking for a manualized treatment, I’m not the therapist for you. If you’re looking for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) only, I’m not the therapist for you. And that’s okay, too!

Here are some additional important things to know about my online therapy services:

  • I offer individual therapy to adults aged 18+ ONLY. I do NOT offer couples’ therapy. I do NOT work with minors or adults who are unable to consent to their own treatment.

  • I am happy to provide a gender affirming surgery letter, emotional support animal letter, or a diagnosis letter for a medication evaluation as clinically indicated. There is no charge if the letter can be completed in session together. If I must complete the letter outside of session, a charge may be applied and we will discuss on a case by case basis

  • I do allow some reduced fees. Unfortunately, my reduced rate spots are currently full.

  • I am very experienced and knowledgeable about addiction. If you would like to work together regarding addiction-related concerns, my sole requirement is that you are stable enough to engage in outpatient treatment, as I do not have the ability to constantly monitor your safety. I don’t require sobriety, but my focus will always be on your safety first and foremost. I believe in harm reduction all the way!

  • I fully embrace medication assisted treatment. I also support psychedelic or ketamine assisted treatment and support the use of cannabis. I am not trained in these services, but I am happy to provide you with a referral to another provider.

My Rates for Online Individual Therapy:

$150 per 45-Minute* Session

$125 per 30-Minute* Session

*Sometimes our sessions end on time. Sometimes we might reach a good stopping place a few minutes early. Other times, we may go over our session limit by 10 minutes. Life happens, and that’s okay!

My Rates for Online Group Therapy:

TTRPG Group (in development)

$50 per person, up to 5 people in a group

Support Group (in development)

$50 per person, up to 7 people in a group

Currently, I am working on developing support groups for the following:

  • “New Pet Blues,” where I’ll help you navigate the usually short-lived and often alarming state that frequently happens right after someone brings home a new pet and goes, “What the hell did I just do? I can’t do this!”

  • Pet Grief and Loss. I’m a pet person, and too often grief over the loss of a pet is minimized and belittled in our society.
